Fedora guest OS has always supported secure boot/UEFI why did VMware Workstation grey it out for Fedora 64-bit since v15?

Fedora guest OS has always supported secure boot/EFI, but since VMware Workstation 15 the option to enable it for Fedora 64-bit has been grey out.  I have simply added it manually to the vmx file and it always has worked.  Before v15 it was not greyed out and fully supported.  Can the VMware Workstation team please re-enable UEFI support for Fedora 64-bit?  It's always worked and been supported.

Yes, this is annoying and makes zero sense.

However, as a workaround you can select "Other Linux 5.x and later kernel 64-bit" and it works normally w/ EFI selected. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
