Latest gcc leads to `incompatible gcc/plugin versions`

I just upgraded my arch linux system with

sudo pacman -Syu

Reinstalled VMware Player by downloading the latest version from the website but unfortunately while building vmmon and vmnet these errors come up:

[Bash] 2019-10-31T22:49:37.220+01:00| host-32711| I125: Log for VMware Workstation pid= - Pastebin.c...

Is there a patch for latest gcc (9.20.3)?

The solution for this problem was (running Manjaro):

Remove vmware-workstation, remove all old kernels, install latest kernel (in my case 5.3.8-1), re-install vmware-workstation (downloaded from vmware webpage) - works
