3d acceleration is not supported in this guest operating system

hi , im using the last version of workstation , guest os is a w7 64bits, i just added all the necessary to use de 3d but when i start the vm always says this :

3d acceleration is not supported in this guest operating system , 3d disabled

host os is w7 64bits also , if someone have any clue please help me , maybe should i use any other version of workstation ? or trying to change the os to a 32 bits?

Have you installed the VMware Tools in the virtual machine?  These include drivers for the video card, which are needed for 3d graphics.

yes i did , because when the vm is off i can click on edit preferences and the 3d box allows me to enable and disable it , the problem is when i run the vm , i found a solution editing the vmx file , and nothing happened , btw im using a gt 9500 2gb
