I have a Windows server 2019 machine on Hyper-V, and try to convert it to vCenter (or EXSi host)
VMWare Converter always reports an error: Unable to find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible.
Check product release note, I found that Windows server 2019 is not in “Supported Guest Operating Systems”.
https://docs.vmware.com/en/vCenter-Converter-Standalone/6.2/rn/conv_sa_62_rel_notes.html#platf
But on the “Known Issues” -> “Windows Source”, it talks about Windows server 2019, like:
“If you convert a Windows Server 2019 machine and you include a ReFS volume that....”
So, I’m a little confused, does Windows server 2019 is supported officially?
Any comment or suggestion is appreciative.
Thank you for your help!
No, it's not officially supported as of yet.
No, it's not officially supported as of yet.
Not supported because at time of release of Converter the 2019 was not published.
However it should be converted without problems, could you upload log bundle for check?
I'll recommend you to test with latest Converter 6.2.0.1 as you using previous one 6.2.0.0
Do not forgot to change Agent installation(s) too.

OK, I will try the latest version.
Do VMWare have plan to support Windows Server 2019 officially?
If yes, when will it be published?
Thank you!
Can't share such information.
However my tests with latest Converter and 2019 are successful.
If your conversion failed again please share log bundle for investigation.
