I am currently running VSphere 6.5 on a Dell R440 (BIOS 2.2.11 6/14/19) with dual Xeon Bronze 3104 CPUs (6 core, no HT). I am looking to replace these with dual Xeon Silver 4110 (8 core, HT) or 4114 (10 core, HT) CPUs. Is this just a power off/drop in/power on replacement? Or is VSphere 6.5 going to have issues rebooting to the new CPUs?
