Hi there,
Any idea how to enable the (tech-preview) multi-session mode for Linux agent?
If I install the agent as unmanaged it will show under Horizon console as "Windows Server 2012 R2", and that allows me to create a farm and publish a desktop.
But then, when I try to connect, I only see a black screen.
I even tried to set singleton_mode to false with the same results.
Thanks
Hello.
did you manage to get this setup working? There is no documentation at all!
The "multi-session" bits are missing from the agent you can download.
I'm not sure there is a Linux "multi session" mode as I've seen. The only multi session mode is with published apps that was released with 7.7
Enable Multi-Session Mode for Published Applications
. The only other multisession mode I'm aware of is the os that Windows Virtual Desktop | Microsoft Azure , that we may be able to use horizon with in the future. If you see a reference somewhere else please share as I'm not aware of it.
Linux "multi session" is Tech Preview.
Can you provide a link, its not this
Tech Preview: Windows Virtual Desktop Benefits with Horizon Cloud
this is only windows 10 desktops in the windows virtual desktop environment.. It only supports Linux as a client
• Support for all Horizon clients, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Chrome and HTML Access.
I may have missed it if there is one, but I can't find a reference to Linux multisession mode anywhere.
Hi rjtd,
I suggest you file a PR with logs attached, we'll have an investigation for that.
