Private IP network resolution

Good day,

I am running vmware in evaluation phase, still in the process of understanding the concepts.

Is there a tool that I can use to resolve the private IP addresses that I have assigned the esxi hosts, and also for the purpose of deploying the vCenter server?

Hi,

If the purpose is also to distribute the VCSA, I advise you not to neglect the DNS, because it is very important.

The Host file only does not solve all the problems you may encounter if you do not have a DNS server.

I suggest you create a VM and install the DNS role. Create all the records you need and then proceed with the VCSA and everything else.

If you need I can guide you in creating the VM and configuring a DNS Server.

Yes I would like to distribute the VCSA, I would appreciate your guidance in configuring the DNS server.

I am currently getting the following error when I try to deploy the VCSA: "The installer is unable to connect to the vCenter Appliance Management Interface"
