Cannot oversubscribe the VM disk space even if thin provisioning is used

Dears,

I used to be able to give larger disk size than the actual datastore phys disk size to any VM before I upgraded to VCSA 6.7U4. Is there any possibility to enable vDisk oversubscription?

The VM will not use more than few 100GB space, but it requires 1800GB disk...

Does it show any errors when you click the Next button?

Can you please try whether this is some kind of GUI issue? After entering the virtual disk's size, change the provisioning type to Thick, and then back to Thin.

I've seen at least one post on this recently

Unable to create large thin provisioned disk.

it may be a gui bug a.p. expects. They never updated the case so I'm assuming creating the vmdk from the command line worked.
