We've moved two VM's (same hardware same software - Windows 7 as OS) from one esx server to another.
We access those VM from VM Workstation Pro's.
Since we moved those VM's we receive on one of those machines daily this error.
Any advice?
I get a similar error when trying to create a Shared VM.
On the example of windows - I see how it loads with four moving squares, but by the time the window for entering user credentials is displayed, I get the following error
I think this happens when the image resolution is switched.
most likely after these lines in the log:

I tried with linux and windows guests
I see that codecs are may be different (VMware Blast Extreme Optimization Guide | VMware )
Perhaps there are some config parameters for overriding the type of stream compression?
