Hello,
I have VCENTER WINDOWS named " SRV-VCEN "
The new VCENTER VCSA will be called " SRV-VCSA "
I followed a tutorial
At the end of the migration, the hostname of VCENTER VCSA is called SRV-VCEN ???
Is this normal ?
Thank you
Yes, it's normal. An upgrade/migration does not change the hostname.
As of vCSA 6.7 Update 3, VMware now supports changing the FQDN.
However, if you want to do that, ensure that you are aware of possible side-effects.
see e.g. Changing your vCenter Server's FQDN - VMware vSphere Blog
