It looks like a broken link... if I try to  the address https://www.vmware.com/go/get-free-esxi, I am automatically redirected to the following address: https://auth.vmware.com/oam/server/obrareq.cgi which contains a completely blank page. But anyway, my issue is how to retrive the free licence key.

What he's trying to tell you is that in order to get the free key you must register.

Perfect, but when I try to register my product it ask me: "Please enter your serial number(s) / license key(s) below to register your products up to a maximum of 50".

You are on the wrong web page. You cannot register a free key in MyVMware, you can only register for a free license key at the web page I mentioned. If you are forwarded to something else, then please check whether some kind of proxy, or s.th. else prevents you from accessing this page.

What you should see is:

Note: Don't worry about the displayed version. License keys are usually valid for major versions, i.e. version 6.x.

Thank's a lot to André, and daphnissov  for the support. The problem has been solved thanks to the intervention of "VMware Licensing team" they told me that "Due to the ongoing issue, the customers at times do not get the free keys". So they changed my account to retrieve the free key, and now I can view the page correctly to the following address:

So, are you saying that you were able to acquire a free / perpetual license for the VMware ESXi custome image. I ask because when I install the image I still see the 60 day evaluation message. Thank you
