Hi please pardon my ignorance on this subject I'm completely new to using VM's , and have tried searching all over google and on other forums to no avail.
I'm using VMWare Workstation Pro 15 My operating system is Windows 10 Pro version 1803 with windows 7x 64 installed on the VM. It's operating extremely slow literally every program takes minutes to load.
Here are the specs of the laptop I'm using, it has 4GB RAM (3.89GB Usable)
I've tried tweaking the settings here for allocated RAM but otherwise I'm clueless,

Hi,
That's not a lot of RAM in your laptop and a bit of a small CPU. Having said that, a Windows 7 VM with 1 vCPU and 1GB RAM as you are showing in your screenshot should work OK-ish.
What kind of antivirus product are you running at the host?
Also did you exclude the VM folder from your antivirus already?
