A question about CPU option.

Hello,

What does "Cores per Socket" mean? For example, if the number of CPU is 4 and "Cores per Socket" is 4 too then it mean 16 CPU?

Thanks.

Cores per socket divides the number of vCPUs into multi-core sockets.

e.g 8 vCPUs with 4 cores per socket will be presented to the guest OS as two 4-core sockets.
