L1 Terminal Fault Patch Question

Hi,

I'm new to ESXi and I've just installed 6.7 Update 2.

I was reading: VMSA-2018-0020

There appears to be some patches (including cpu-microcode) updates:

ESXi670-201808401-BG (https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/56537)

ESXi670-201808402-BG (https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/56538)

ESXi670-201808403-BG (https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/56897)

I'm assuming these have been rolled into 6.7 Update 2 but I actually haven't found a way to confirm this.

I can list all the VIBs installed on my system using esxcli but I don't know where to go from here.

I've also enabled the SCAv1 scheduler.

Is there a way to know if I'm patched against this?

Thanks.

Correct. The patches are cumulative.

Check your current Build version against https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/patch#search (Select ESXi and 6.7.0 and press the search button)

After 6.7u2 there are some newer patches and VMware release SCAv2 scheduler (Intra VM hyperthreading allowed).

So my build is: 13006603

It looks like the patches I am interested in are in 8941472. So if the builds are cumulative then I'm on a higher build number and therefore it should include the patches correct?

Thanks.
