Difference between Display Scaling and DPI Synchronization

I'm new in this argument. I want to understand the difference between Display Scaling and DPI Synchronization.

Displayed scaling allows you to change the DPI setting and save it based on the remote desktop or all pub apps. You can change the DPI regardless of the client DPI settings.

DPI sync will set the remote desktop/app to the clients DPI setting. If the client DPI changes, It will sync it during the next logon to the remote desktop/app You can only use one or the other.
