Question :

May i know , what port number authentication proxy is using . I'm getting following error   "The "Modify vmcam-config.py" operation failed for the entity with the following error message.  The following error(s) occurred when applying service configuration: null: Remote script execution failed"  I'm assuming may be firewall issue in my environment .   please advice   Thanks Ajay

Did you ever get this resolved? We are seeing the same issue. This post (Add domain to vsphere 6.5 authentication proxy ) talks about changing the authentication to use NTLMv2, but we are hesitant to try this as no where in the vSphere documentation does it mention this...unless we missed it.
