Not able to access to ESXi 6 host using vSphere client .

Hi Experts ,

I am connecting directly to the host via IP to  vSphere client and when I try to connect the visor, it gives me the below  error:

"vSphere Clinet could not connect to 192.168.10.10  An unknown connection error occurred (the request failed because the remote server took too long to respond. (The operation has timed out.)"

I tried with few steps but not working , Please anyone faced the issue ?

Bits .

Hi ,

Here is a list of depreciated devices in 5.5 and above in case it helps to find an item you can simply swap instead of a new machine. The article also states if you do have unsupported hardware an upgrade will NOT remove them, but you are no longer officially supported - so this maybe another option as I already mentioned - try and upgrade.

Can you ping the host on that address? It looks like you have a connection issue. Maybe a firewall? Or the service on the host is stopped.

Consider giving Kudos if you think my response helped you in any way.

Was it working before ?

Can you please try to launch host client using  https://<ESXi IP>/ui  and check if it is working.
