commands for shutdown and restart Workstation 14 Player while a backup

hello, i am searching for the comands for the backup software to shutdown or suspend the running vw workstation while making a backup.

in the moment i use: - "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Player\vmplayer.exe" shutdown - to shutdown, but that doesnt work properly.

Afaik Player doesn't have any command line options. Workstation does... vmware Command Options
