Cannot connect the virtual device

Hi,

I installed three virtual machines (Windows7, Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016) in VMware Workstation Pro 15.1.0.

Whenever I power on any VM, I see following error message.

Please let me know, why this error message appears and what I need to click?

Regards

Probably it will be the Virtual CD of the VM, that it was originally connected to a physical CD on the originating host.

Pls look for the image attached.

Whether I click Yes or No or close the box, VMs get turned on.

I am confused, what should I click. And I see this error box for all VMs.

Please let me know, why this error message appears and what I need to click?

Hello, GnVm

sata0:1 is the your virtual CD/DVD device which was configured as "Connect at power on " and "Use physical device" for a connection. so if you have physical CD/DVD, then you will run into this dialog if you don't click "No". Anyway, for this issue, I think you could uncheck "connect at power on" in vm setting or you can click "No" when you get this warning message, then subsequent power on cannot bring such warning dialog. Hope it helps.
