vRealize Log Insight not collecting logs on ESXi hosts

Hello,

I have problem with vRLI and ESXi. After setup cluster of vRLI, I add vCenter do vRLI and ESXi logs not show i dashboard. I don't have inforation about VM on host etc. Does anyone know what can happen? I check firewall, configuration on host and everything looks ok.

At first on host I have these configuration

362361_362361.pngpastedImage_0.png

DNS working ok and resolve domain names.

Second, firewall configuration:

362365_362365.pngpastedImage_1.png

Everythink looks ok on vRLI and ESXi/vCenter.

Any idea?

What happens if you substitute the IP of your vRLI cluster with the FQDN?

What do you mean? Because in the host configuration I have entered vrli-cluster.zenon.lab and this is the domain name of the vRLI cluster

I mean simply replace the FQDN of your vRLI cluster VIP with the IP instead to rule out DNS. Even though you say it's working, make the change on one ESXi host and restart syslog service to test.
