    vmk50: what is it?

    vmb01 Hot Shot

      NSX-t 2.4

Just configured an overlay transport  zone on some ESXi hosts.

I see th vmkernel ports created on every host:

vmk10 (ip from my IP pool): is the TEP vmkernel, it provides incapsulation/decapsutaltin

vmk50 (ip 169.254.1.1): what is it?

      Thanks in advance

if you are using NSX-T for PKS  this is genaraly used for the  hyperbus on the ESXi Transport Node, is part of the netcpa and you can check this by enter this command in the ESXi Transport Node get hyperbus connection info
