Best solution to physical maintenance on a host

Hi,

In vSphere version 6, we have a cluster with two physical hosts HP Proliant, HP MSA 1040 disk array and 7 VM (VCenter is a VM). I need to change the HP Smart Storage battery on one server.

What is the best solution  : should I stop all VM, place the two hosts in maintenance mode and stop the hosts or could I migrate all VM on the host not concerned by maintenance and just stop the other server.

Hi

The best soluiton is you migrate all for the other server. You place a host in maintenance mode when you need to change battery.
