Disk Cann't extended in Windows Server 2012R2

Hello

i just get a request to extend a Disk on VM that has OS windows Server 2012 R2, i looked in vcenter the disk has already extended but i cann't extend it in Windows , the extend option is hidden.

Hi Wafi_aljunaedi,

Its because the Windows volume is MBR.

To go beyond 2TB in Windows you need to convert the volume to GPT. This is destructive under Windows but there are utility’s and tools which can do this online.

Thank you ThompsG ,, you are right, i notced that later and converted the disk to GPT, it has extended.
