We are looking at ways to migrate our view 6 environment to view 7. We have persistent pools so we will need to bring these VM’s to our new view 7 environment.
In the past I usually just uninstall the agents and remove them from view 6 and then vmotion the vm over and reinstall the 7 agent and add it to a new pool, but is there a better way to do this since we have so many VM's and pools? Can this be scripted? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
