Microsoft clustered VMs with ESXi 6.7 clustered Hosts

Hi

We are planning to migrate the Microsoft 2016 Clustered VMs X 3 from Microsoft Hyper 2012 R2 clustered hosts to ESXi 6.7 U1 3 X clustered hosts. We found an article (https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-651-setup-mscs.pdf) saying pass through RDM is the only option for clustered VMs across multiple ESXi clustered hosts. Just we want to confirm what we understood is correct or there is another option available

Thanks in advance

Yes.. RDM with physical compatibility mode seems to be the best option(recommended by VMware)

If you didn't want to use RDMs, you might also be able to use in-guest iSCSI if your array is configured for that protocol.
