Removing workstation pro gives error in creating temp file?

Hello I need to remove VMware Workstation Pro 15 running on a Windows 10 desktop.   I'm getting: "There was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete this installation".  I've already given myself full Admin permissions to all top and subordinate levels above the app.  Appreciate your advice on how to resolve this problem.  Thanks!

I don't know the exact reason why this issue occurs on your machine, yet let me give some hints that may help you find the reason for this error to occur:

1. Did you check the log file generated by the installer program?
2. Install SysInternals Process Monitor and have it running while running the VMware Workstation setup programme. Then, in the log generated by Process Monitor, check for file access calls made by the VMware Workstation installer that failed. You'll see the reason logged in the list generated by Process Monitor.
