In the Cross-VC NSX integration with the SRM DR solution, when the failover occurs, how to do the repotect and failback?

As there is no NSX contollers in the recovery site.

Thanks.

SRM Failover/Failback/Reprotect is specific for Compute Workloads . All NSX components based on the design either we need a manual approach or API/VRO calls to deploy the respective component in the right order

  • Promote Secondary NSX Manager to Primary by: Assign Primary Role.
  • Deploy new Universal Controller Cluster and synchronize all objects
  • Universal CC configuration pushed to ESXi Hosts managed by Secondary
  • Redeploying the Control VM(If local egress is not enabled)
