In Fusion 11, my mouse will not travel beyond the edges of the window. I can't even access the tools menu or the top menu. It also, randomly, switches from normal smooth and controlled to rapid and jerky.

Did you install VMware Tools?
If you did have you tried re-installing VMware Tools (uninstall - reboot guest - install VMware Tools)

I have the same issue. I have installed VMWare tools but no help.
Solved. In Preferences, was set to automatically detect game behavior. Change to Never.
