ESXi on HP ZBook 15 G5?

Has anyone had any success figuring out how to get ESXi to run on a ZBook 15 G5? Installation succeeded after setting ignoreHeadless=TRUE, but ESXI startup stops with:

Shutting down firmware services...

Using 'simple offset' UEFI RTS mapping policy

Relocating modules and starting up the kernel...

I did set the ignoreHeadless=TRUE as a boot option for ESXi.

Unfortunately I do not have an answer, however I face the same issue on HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation.
Please let me know if you find something. 🙂

This didn't work for me, but have you tried the custom HPE iso?

I just tried it, unfortunately it gives me the same errors as the standard image.
Have you tried installing in legacy? At least that yields to a different error on my side

No, on the face of it, I get the same error in both modes. I assume there are some drivers missing, but I don't yet know how to tell which ones.

I have good news.

I got it running!
I had to use 6.7U2 and it worked right away!

I hope this helps you.
