vCenter 6.5 Incorrect UserName for event (PermissionChangedEvent)

When we changed permissions on a cluster using vCenter UI (6.5)

the permission changed event shows User Name as 'vpxd-extension....' instead of actual user name.

UI as well API report the above mentioned user name.

This is not observed if the permission change operation is performed using API.

This is not the case for vCenter 5.5 which means its clearly a regression.

This hampers solution ability to determine who performed the operation.

Any insights/workaround/acceptance of bug ?

Internally we have issue reported for this and could be addressed in upcoming update release of 65 .

To my knowledge nothing as of now, however it is also addressed in upcoming release of 67 update 2 which is tentatively planned for release next month.You can upgrade to 67 ones it is GAed.
