Any command that can be run from the command line in master node to address adapter that times out on Test Connection and is hung on stopping?
Adapter related there are no specific commands to address.

If the adapter instance is hung on stopping state you can click on the stop button again and it should stop.
With respect to timeout we need to identify why its timing out and then troubleshoot further.
