Hi Luc,
can yu suggest something on following .
we are migrating vms from prod to DR.
in order to acomadatemigrated vms we calculating resource requirement .
i.e memory,cpu and storage .
while memory and storage is straight forward i want to know what calculations shud be done for cpu.
How do you mean?
What data do you have for the current environment: vCPU + usage%?

i mean to say vms are configured with numcpu but on esxi we need Ghz .
so how do i make sure that vmswhich iam going to migrated will be running fine without resource crunch.
So you are saying that the 2 platforms have HW where the CPU runs at considerably different clock cycles?
You can also get the usageMhz metric, that would perhaps allow a better estimate of what you need to define on the target side.
Afaik, you can also use NumCpu on an ESXi node.

i am checking this somehow vropsgives better capacity avalaibale and utilization report.but i am checcking the usagemHZ metric.
