Hardware refresh : Question on adding FC SAN

Hello,

I am doing hardware refresh and replacing all ESXi hosts on the existing cluster.  My question is, do I add the FC SAN connections before or after installation of ESXi on the hardware?   or does it even matter? I just want this to go smooth.

You'll probably have to do it after (and have ESXi up and running) so you can gather the WWNs of the HBAs.

You can do the connection to FC SAN after installation.
