Single Skyline Appliance for Multiple Datacenters across WAN VPN

I have two physically separate datacenters, each with their own vCenter server and hosts. The sites are connected across a VPN, and I wanted to know if I'd need 2 Skyline appliances, or if I could use 1

If the datacenters are geographically located in two different places, please install two Skyline appliances.

Thanks, how do I add the second appliance into the same web portal? I ended up adding the second vCenter as another object in my portal, but it won't read any data from it. I can't figure out how to remove that vCenter object, then add the second appliance into the same portal.

You can go through the below mentioned youtube link to register the other collector appliance to Advisor.

The 5th Step will help you to migrate the collector. Once it is done, please wait for 48 hours to see the second collector in the Advisor page.

How I remove a collector I no longer use?

Hello sgoldhorn,

If you have already deleted\removed vCenter endpoint from Collector and decommissioned the Skyline appliance, I would send you a personal message please share with us the Collector ID so we can remove it from the back end.
