Bug: Virtual Machine Previews Lost and not Automatically Restored if External Disk is Available Again.

It seems there is a bug in VMware Fusion affecting the previews of the virtual machines. If a disk is not available when the application is started, the preview icons are removed from the affected virtual machines. They are not restored, if the disk gets available again. This is especially problematic if one works with a large library of virtual machines on external disks.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place 10 virtual machines on an external disk.

2. Add them to the virtual machine library.

3. Make sure the preview of the last state of this virtual machines are visible.

4. Close VMware Fusion.

5. Unmount the external disk.

6. Start VMware Fusion.

7. The previews of all virtual machine are removed.

8. Close VMware Fusion.

9. Mount the external disk.

10. Start VMware Fusion.

Expected result:

- All previews are available again.

Actual result:

- The previews stay blank, until the virtual machine is selected.

VMware Fusion should not only check if a virtual machine is accessible at the start to remove the preview, it should also automatically restore previews of virtual machines which are available again.

Even better, VMware Fusion should at least store a snapshot of the last preview information locally, so the basic information of virtual machines are visible in the library, even if the disk is not available.
