Is Network Adapter on VM incompatible?

This is a followup of my original problem with WXPpro64 on W7pro64 using the Player.

On the host Internet is normal available, but guest has no connectivity, this even when disabling all firewalls (router, windows host, and windows guest).

The HOST has several Network Adapter drivers (see attached Host.png)

The driver "Viscosity Virtual Adapter V9.1" is deactivated (Code 22)

The GUEST has the driver "Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network Connection" (see attached Guest.png)

I would very much appreciate, if someone could please provide some help on how zo possibly attain connectivity between Host and Guest.

Just in case someone drops on this thread:

The problem was solved with a new installation with the antivirus deactivated in all steps of installing the VM with the WXP guest and by using an older version of the browser.
