We already have a replicated Data in the DR site (Windows 2016 with SQL)
We want to test the data of the replicated VM so how can we power on the VM in the DR site without using SRM?
We tried to remove the replication instance from the PROD and DR replication appliances only to find out that the replicated data is also removed.
Also from the screenshot on the DR datastore, VMX file has a number on it and cant be registered to the inventory.
BTW, we are using vSphere Replication 8.1, vCenter 6.7 U1 and vSphere 6.7 U1.
This is one of the critical factors in the project.
