Physical v800 Scanner connected to Thin client

     Hello all,

I have a dell 5060 wyse thin client that I want to connect my v800 Epson scanner and do the scanning there rather than redirection on Horizon 7 VM.

I am able to scan if I go on to printer and devices, but not on the Epson Scan function. Driver is installed successfully but can only scan if I go directly to the printer.

Anyone have some advice on how to get this to work or how to get better latency on the scanning redirection?

For latency, be sure you are using the scanner redirection feature of the Horizon agent. You don't want to use the USB redirection.

As for using the thinclient only (assuming you are using Windows embedded/IoT), you need to verify that the Epson driver supports using Windows embedded. I would adventure to guess that it does not.
