Workflow to reconfigure VM - only CPU and Memory

Hello, 

I have been looking for a workflow/action to reconfigure simple things like CPU and Memory on CPU, but have not been able to find any. 

Are you aware of any, or code examples?

I dont like the standard Reconfigure VM as it offers too many options to user, e.g. network and disks..

It is simple to change directly on the VM object, but that will bypass any approval workflow if not requested from the vCAC. At least I believe so...

With vROps 7.0 and vRealize Ochestrator MP 2.0 you are able to use custom workflows.

You then can use custom workflows as an action in vROps.

Is that what you are looking for?

You've posted this in the vROps subforum, but it really sounds like you're wanting to develop a custom XaaS action to use in vRA. If that's the case, you can start with some of the examples in the library within vRO. It's not that hard to limit the reconfigures to CPU and Memory only.
