vRops Environment Overview Widget exclude SRM VMs

Hi

We have recently deployed vRops and would like to provide an Environment Overview Widget for the OPS team. In the Dashboard, we would like to exclude SRM VMs in a certain datastore, I have tried to achieve this in the Object type but unable to find an option for it.

vRops version is 6.7

Please Advice

That "placeholder" functionality for SRM VMs only comes with vROps 7.0, so you'll need to be on that version to accomplish the task.

Hi

Thanks for the response. Is it possible to display specific VMs from a VM folder to the Environment Overview Widget.

Currently I am selecting the vcenter adapter and virtual machines and provides me the entire VMs list.

We would like to have some type of inclusion or exclusion in the Environment Overview Widget.

Regards

I fail to see what this has to do with SRM placeholders, though.
