In the mean time I have tried to reset Update manager database as per article below. However, the problem still persists.

Also, I have observed that when I test connection, it says some url's are not accessible. (https://www.vmware.com) However when it try to redirect it from one of the machines that have internet access to use it as proxy, the download source still remains disconnected.

VCSA 6.5 - Update Manager not work

Is this something related with Certificates or firewall ports.. how do I check?

Hi there,

Can you confirm that from another computer that you are able to browse to https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml

On this computer do you require a proxy to access the internet? If you do then you will need to enter the same proxy details into the VCSA in order to gain access to the VUM depot. You could also try pinging hostupdate.vmware.com from the console of the VCSA to confirm you are getting name resolution.

Sorry if you have already tried these things Smiley Happy

Kind regards.
