disk not detected to installing esxi 5.5

Hello,

I am trying to install ESXI on my brand new build. I got my system booting off an Optical drive with ESXI 5.5.0 in it. When it is time to decide where to install the ESXI, it does not detect any of the internal drives.

These are some of the parts of my build:

Intel Xeon  E5606 2.13Ghz Procesor

Supermicro X8DTL-3/-I/-3F/-IF/-LP

Seagate SAS ,Cheetah 5.1k Hard Drive 300gb

Do I need to add a driver to my ESXI ISO or something similar? Any help

Cheers,

Agus

Verify if the latest firmware version is installed and are the internal drives visible in the BIOS?

Also ESXi 5.5 is and old and unsupported version of ESXi. Any reason why installing this version?
