I am trying to setup a virtual LAB but the Linux Guest VM say Kali Linux or any other Ubuntu is not able to ping a Windows Guest running.
I have tried this now on Bridged and Host-only network mode set for both the instance but it is not working.
I am able to ping Linux from Windows and get reply but from Linux to windows packets fail.
i have also disabled Windows 10 ( The Host ) firewall, made inbound echo requests rule on/off ( both tested).
I can ping the gateway that is X.X.X.1 but unable to ping other VM or website. But I could still browse internet in Bridged mode in Linux VM.

Connection for both VMs is set to Bridged mode , ( I also tried setting this to NAT ).
Please help.
