Dual SD per installazione ESXi 6.5

Ciao a tutti,

sono un nuovo membro della community e anche delle soluzioni VMWare.

Fino ad oggi ho gestito Hyper-V ma avendo introdotto un nuovo server (Dell R640) ho deciso di approdare su VMWare.

Attualmente sono in attesa delle due microSD su cui caricare l'immagine di installazione di ESXi. Eh si, inizialmente non era prevista l'installazione dell'Hypervisor ESXi...

Premesso ciò, non mi è chiaro come "preparare" le due SD per procedere all'installazione. Basta caricare l'ISO in una delle due (o su entrambe)? Occorre un file di installazione specifico diverso dalla ISO?

You have to download the ISO when you like to install it via virtual CDROM(iDRAC). This iso is the same for all other dell servers as well (R730,R740xd,R5x0) and it doesnt matter if you have dual SD card, BOSS or raid1 HDDs.

Next time please visit dell.com/support and enter your service tag or select "choose different modell". You will find the ISO in der Driver Download section after selection "ESX xx" in the OS dropdown.
