It is possible to licence a vmware vsan stretched cluster with the vcan service provider licence?
May options are vsan standard, vsan advanced and vsan enterprise add-on. I believe I need vsan advanced + enterprise add-on when licencing via service provider program.
The next question if it is, is around usage. The licence model is per GB of used vsan space. With a stretched cluster technically the space is doubled, due to RAID 1 across two locations ... does this mean the licence cost is also double ?
If anyone has prior knowledge of this it would be great to know. Licence opinions I've learnt over the years are best to hear from multiple sources
