VSAN datastore huge amount of "Other" data

Hi,

I have a VSAN datastore which has much less free space than it should and when checking it indicates that there is 9.36TB of other data.

I have checked what the obvious culprits might be, there are 20GB of ISO files, 82GB VM snapshots and 58GB of other files and folders. I can't seem to identify where the rest of it has went!

What else might be causing this high usage?

Hello Nelg7,

Does the usage for VMs category look correct? (positive that it is not ~9TB less than expected). Start with RVC for getting a better look at your data e.g. vsan.obj_status_report -t <pathToCluster> this should allow you to determine where/what this chunk of storage is consumed.
