Mouse dissappears in VMware Console

Hey Community,

I have a strange problem on a Windows Server 2016 VM on our 6.0 VMware environment.

The problem is only on my notebook and only on one VM.

When I go into the Console with vSphere Client, my Mouse disappears. I can click in the VM and everything works, but my mouse is not visible.

When I remove VMware Tools it works again. I deleted the whole VM, installed with an ISO from Microsoft the last Windows Server 2016. Everything is fine. I install VMware tools -> mouse is away again.

I can't understand what is the problem. I'm so confused.

I'm working with Windows 10 1803.

Thank you!

Hi,

Do you use the vSphere Web Client?

Hey,

when I'm using the Web Client, the mouse works.

In the vSphere Client it's away.

But I really like to work with the Client, as long as I can.

As long as VMware tools are installed it should work correctly.

Also, you should be used to use the Web Client as the C# thick client is removed in latest versions (beyond 6.5).
