Windows/Linux VMRC does not currently support customize UI elements. VMRC for macOS has this capability by "customizing the toolbar".
I guess there really isnt an option here. I have this same problem. But let me ask, who decided to put the suspend button there in the first place? If should be a default drop down. Nothing else

How is this even a thing? Suspend should be embedded, 1% of users use it I'd guess, if that. Ugg
Yes, there should not a a default option for that button - all choices should be hidden under the drop-down menu. It's too easy to hit it by accident.
