cpu readiness way different then cpu ready

Hi

I thought cpu readiness, was the cpu ready % you can convert by using  the article below.

VMware Knowledge Base

I'm looking at the below graph and I see cpu readiness spikes, but cpu ready is pretty low and flat. Why would these be different if my understanding is correct?

That may be it, I was looking at the host instead of the specific vm as well. It just seemed weird to see a huge spike while cpu ready summation is a relatively flat line.
