Cluster management by connecting via VMware workstation

Hello,

I am trying to connect to my cluster on vcenter 6.5 which configured with 3 hosts via VMware Workstation 14.1.2 Pro with an admin account so as to create a new VM. At the stage of selecting on which host I want to create my VM, I do not see my cluster, I only see my hosts.

Does anyone have an idea why we are not able to create a VM on a cluster as is the case via GUI?
thank you,

Because VMware Workstation doesn't support cluster-level VM creation. What you're seeing is accurate and you'll have to select an individual host to run the VM. If using DRS, it is still able to move it to other cluster members, and if using HA that still works as well.
